Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with residential, commercial, and industrial wiring installations.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting under supervision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment correctly and safely.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites efficiently.
- Follow all local and national electrical codes (NEC) strictly.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; willingness to learn is mandatory.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating wire lengths and loads.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
