Responsibilities
- Learn from the Best: Assist journeyman electricians with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations and repairs.
- Read and Interpret Plans: Develop the ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Tools of the Trade: Learn the proper use and maintenance of electrical hand tools and power equipment.
- Code Compliance: Understand and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Milwaukee codes during installations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and homeowners to explain work being performed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic proficiency in mathematics is a plus.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, problem-solving skills, and a great work ethic.
