What You'll Do:
- Learn to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision.
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial projects.
- Inspect electrical components and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Requirements:
- No prior experience required (Apprentice position available).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Learn to follow blueprints and safety regulations strictly.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and work areas.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites.
- Observe safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with the supervising electrician and team members.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to undergo a physical examination and drug screening.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
