As an apprentice, you will receive on-the-job training alongside our certified journeymen, guiding you from the basics to becoming a licensed electrician.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs.
- Perform basic maintenance on power tools and test equipment.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and organize job sites.
- Replace basic electrical components such as outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience).
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of math and measurements.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
