Responsibilities
- Learn and Assist: Shadow Journeyman Electricians and assist with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Tool Management: Learn to properly use, maintain, and organize a wide range of electrical hand and power tools.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin learning to interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Site Prep: Prepare job sites by clearing areas, setting up ladders and scaffolding, and organizing materials.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, and ensure a high standard of workmanship.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical trade school courses are a plus.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, reliability, and a positive attitude toward safety and quality.
