Responsibilities
- Assist certified journeymen with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and terminating devices.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards or material shortages immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior electrical experience is required; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to use hand and power tools.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within NC and OH.
