Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and troubleshooting on electrical circuits.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary tools, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – We are looking for raw talent and a willingness to learn.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring instruments (tape measures, levels, etc.).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow direct instructions.
