Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment needed for job sites, ensuring everything is in working order.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Perform basic electrical tasks, including stripping wire, connecting terminals, mounting outlets, and installing fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper tool organization and site cleanup after every job.
- Document work performed accurately and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the USA.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation are required.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM) and weekends if necessary.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills.
