Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Prepare work areas by gathering tools, materials, and equipment.
- Perform basic tasks such as pulling wire, fastening boxes, and mounting devices.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to safety regulations.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculations.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
