Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by laying out materials, tools, and equipment according to blueprints.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, bending conduit, and terminating cables.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Transport tools and materials to and from various job sites.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly; comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- A strong desire to learn the electrical trade and obtain Journeyman certification.
- Team-oriented attitude and a commitment to safety.
