Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, connecting terminals, and installing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to all local safety codes and OSHA regulations.
- Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure they are functioning according to specifications.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior experience is necessary; we are looking for raw talent and a willingness to learn.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a ruler or measuring tape.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
