Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment to ensure safety compliance and operational efficiency.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites using company vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Support the team in troubleshooting electrical faults and executing new installations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and obtain journeyman licensure.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
