Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret and understand electrical schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and compliance with codes.
- Perform Site Prep: Prepare job sites by laying out wires, cables, and conduits, and ensuring all materials are organized and safe.
- Conduct Safety Inspections: Adhere to strict OSHA safety standards and company protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain Equipment: Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean and in excellent working condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explaining work progress and ensuring satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Driver's License Required: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortability with basic arithmetic and measurements is essential.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience is necessary, but a strong desire to master electrical trade skills is mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
