Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and local building codes.
- Perform basic tasks such as stripping wire, mounting outlets, and assembling junction boxes.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Keep work sites clean, organized, and safe for all personnel.
- Load and unload tools and materials for daily job sites.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to complete a 4-year state-approved apprenticeship program.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions) are essential.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Must be physically able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
