Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Perform basic electrical wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping wire, and terminating connections.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Operate power tools and hand tools correctly and safely.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (for measurements and calculations).
- Willingness to obtain required certifications and complete apprenticeship training.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
