Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations (OSHA).
- Handle and transport materials and tools to and from job sites efficiently.
- Learn proper cable pulling, termination, and wiring techniques.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Strong desire to learn and willingness to follow safety protocols strictly.
- No prior electrical experience is required; we value attitude and work ethic over experience.
