Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical components to identify hazards and ensure proper functionality.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist in pulling wire, installing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and junction boxes.
- Document work completed and report any equipment issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we are looking for candidates with a strong willingness to learn and a passion for the trade.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
