As part of our elite team, you will receive hands-on on-the-job training, shadowing senior electricians, and classroom instruction to prepare you for your journeyman licensing exam.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on residential and commercial sites.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Material Preparation: Help organize, cut, and prepare conduit, wire, and other materials for upcoming projects.
- Basic Wiring: Learn to run basic wiring, install outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures under direct supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of debris after daily operations.
- Documentation: Assist in logging work orders, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for job site travel.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Mindset: A strong willingness to learn, basic problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and ready to commit to a full-time schedule.
