Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections of wiring, circuit breakers, and fixtures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site at all times.
- Prepare work areas and tools for daily tasks.
- Assist in pulling wire and installing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Follow all local and national electrical codes (NEC) strictly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensing and certifications.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
