Responsibilities
- Assist in Installations: Support senior electricians in the installation of electrical systems, wiring, lighting fixtures, and appliances according to blueprints and specifications.
- Conduit Fabrication: Learn to cut, thread, and bend electrical conduit (EMT, PVC, Rigid) to required angles and lengths.
- Panel Wiring: Help with pulling wire, terminating lugs, and organizing panel boards under supervision.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site, including loading and unloading materials.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist in testing circuits and troubleshooting simple electrical issues to ensure proper functionality.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Driver's License: Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical Ability: Must be physically fit to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of geometry and arithmetic is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
