Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize electrical tools, equipment, and materials to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and your team.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing areas, setting up ladders, and ensuring proper signage and protection.
- Learning & Development: Actively participate in training sessions to master electrical theory, blueprints, and local building codes.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and homeowners to explain work being performed and answer basic questions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required. A strong willingness to learn is the only prerequisite.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required for field work.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
