Job Overview
As an Electrician Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced Journeymen to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. This role is perfect for those looking to enter the field with zero experience, provided you are willing to learn and work hard.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively while following strict safety protocols.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards.
- Run conduit, wire circuits, and terminate connections accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always mandatory.
- Willingness to obtain required trade licenses and certifications.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
