Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe workspace.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical schematics under supervision.
- Perform basic wiring tasks such as pulling wire, stripping insulation, and securing fixtures.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – a strong willingness to learn is the only prerequisite.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical stamina to work on ladders, in crawl spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
