Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping cable, and terminating outlets and switches.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites as required.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members regarding job progress.
- Complete all necessary training logs and safety certifications.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
