Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on all electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety regulations and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project timelines and expectations.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding electrical schematics.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
