Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to project timelines and specifications
- Adhere to OSHA and NEC regulations for all installations and repairs
- Manage inventory of electrical components and tools
- Complete detailed work reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise in residential, commercial, or industrial systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
