Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure precise execution
- Adhere to NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety protocols
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet tight deadlines
- Document work progress and maintain detailed service records
- Perform system upgrades and energy-efficient retrofits
Qualifications
- Valid state electrician license (Michigan or reciprocal state)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, wiring, and circuit installation
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to New York projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
