Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute wiring projects.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct thorough safety inspections and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in mentoring junior electricians and apprentices as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Florida (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and power distribution.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
