Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in compliance with NEC standards
- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and circuit testers
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Perform safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance on all job sites
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients to project specifications
- Manage inventory and order materials for electrical installations
- Document work progress and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently in physically demanding environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and emergency calls
