Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layouts and wiring routes.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure client satisfaction.
- Install, connect, and test electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances (e.g., circuit breakers, lighting, outlets).
- Use hand and power tools, including ammeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License (California).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions and climbing ladders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
