Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to meet project timelines
- Document work performed and maintain safety protocols
- Adapt to diverse job sites including new construction and renovations
Qualifications
- Valid California electrician license (Journeyman or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA standards, and local codes
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within San Jose Bay Area
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Flexibility for same-day or next-day assignments
