Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine work requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality and safety.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
- Operate power tools, testing equipment, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Manage material inventory and waste disposal on job sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent Apprentice status with 2+ years experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional electrical experience in residential or commercial settings.
- Current Driver's License and reliable transportation for travel between Indianapolis and Ohio job sites.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and climb ladders or scaffolding.
