Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC and Louisiana state electrical codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform system inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety audits
- Lead project teams and coordinate with other trade professionals
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, power distribution, and control systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Expertise in reading electrical schematics and architectural drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
