Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and California Title 24 standards
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and project managers
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain accurate documentation
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices
Qualifications
- Valid California electrician license (Journeyman or higher)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, circuit installation, and power distribution
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
