Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout for wiring and electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, connect, and test electrical systems, including lighting, outlets, circuit breakers, and control panels.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and providing detailed explanations of work performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, including proper waste disposal and tool organization.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical field.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and wiring systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical documents.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
