Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment according to blueprints and specifications
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and local regulations
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients for seamless project execution
- Perform system inspections, testing, and documentation for quality assurance
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for assigned projects
- Mentor junior technicians and uphold safety protocols on all job sites
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Electrical License (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable electrical installation and maintenance experience
- Proven expertise reading technical blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical systems and components
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background/drug screening
