Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan project layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction crews to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
