Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine maintenance inspections to prevent equipment failures and ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project timelines and specifications.
- Manage job sites to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
