Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential/commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and perform precise repairs
- Collaborate with contractors and clients on project timelines and requirements
- Manage inventory of tools and materials for assigned projects
- Conduct safety inspections and recommend upgrades for code compliance
- Maintain detailed work documentation and client communication logs
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license in Maryland (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical installation/repair experience
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, voltage testers, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes
- Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
