Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code compliance
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients to project timelines and requirements
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and NEC regulations
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
- Mentor junior electricians and provide on-the-job training
- Document work completed and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- Valid New York State electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise with residential, commercial, and industrial systems
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
