Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to resolve system failures efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and other construction trades to coordinate project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
- Document all work performed and report any material shortages or safety hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (State of Illinois).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders as needed.
