Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in commercial and residential settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts and installations.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and work from complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and standards.
