Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced team members with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform Basic Tasks: Execute routine electrical duties such as replacing outlets, switches, light fixtures, and troubleshooting minor circuit issues.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Strictly follow OSHA safety standards and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Read Schematics: Learn to interpret basic electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals under supervision.
- Maintain Equipment: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards; ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional, courteous service to clients by maintaining a clean appearance and adhering to company standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: None required. We are looking for candidates eager to learn the trade.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, fractions) is helpful.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills.
