Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by gathering materials, tools, and equipment needed for the job.
- Component Installation: Install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers following blueprints and schematics.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Help identify and rectify electrical faults under supervision.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure longevity and proper function.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy materials for extended periods.
- Problem Solving: Basic understanding of mechanics and a willingness to learn complex electrical concepts.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Location Flexibility: Willingness to travel to job sites in Houston, TX, and Florida.
