Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Inspect electrical systems, devices, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure that all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters) effectively.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project timelines and status.
- Assist senior electricians with complex troubleshooting and project execution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and blueprint reading.
