Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication regarding project status.
- Mentor and guide junior apprentices and apprentices on proper techniques and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Current Driver’s License and reliable transportation for job site travel.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to work in various conditions, including heights and tight spaces.
