Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures according to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts and installations.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in full compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Identify and resolve electrical faults and hazards promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license required (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with power tools, testing equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within the Detroit, MI and Ohio region.
