Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and outlets.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all electrical work is up to code and safe.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and used safely according to OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues and proposed solutions.
- Assist senior electricians with complex projects as training progresses.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and follow strict safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus.
