Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping wire, and terminating outlets and switches.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety procedures and company regulations.
- Prepare and submit accurate timecards and daily progress reports to the project manager.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of math, measurements, and basic mechanical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions (extreme heat/cold).
- Strong willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
