Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as running conduit, stripping wire, and terminating circuits.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Interact with customers to explain electrical issues and provide solutions.
- Learn to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Transport tools and equipment to job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy tools (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Willingness to obtain an Electrician's license or Apprentice certification.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safety-conscious mindset.
